Committees

WVPEC has two committees, the Executive Committee and the Governing Board.  The Executive Committee meets monthly, and consists of six superintendents, and three members of the advisory committee. All member superintendents are welcome to attend.

WVPEC Executive Committee

Chair: Mr. Robert Graham, Superintendent, Pulaski Co. Public Schools

Vice Chair: Dr. Kevin Siers, Superintendent, Franklin County Public Schools

Term expires June 30, 2027

Member: Dr. Jonathan Russ, Superintendent, Botetourt County Schools

Term expires June 30, 2027

Member: Dr. Terry Arbogast, II, Superintendent, Giles County Public Schools

Member: Mrs. Kim Halterman, Superintendent, Alleghany Highlands Public Schools

Member: Curtis Hicks, Superintendent, Salem City Public Schools

Advisory Committee Member: Regional Members of the Virginia House of Delegates, including Delegate J

Advisory Committee Member: Dr. Brian Kitts, Radford University

Advisory Committee Member: Dr. David Alexander, Virginia Tech

The Governing Board

The Governing Board consists of the superintendents of all consortium member schools.  They meet twice a year to approve the budget, and to discuss and approve consortium business.
